This policy explains how Jodorf Estate Limited Company (“Jodorf Estates”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you use this website. We have written it to describe what this website actually does and nothing more.

Jodorf Estate Limited Company is a real estate development and infrastructure company registered in Ghana, incorporated on 20 January 2025. Information we collect

Enquiry form. When you submit the contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the nature of your interest, and your message. This is the only personal information this website actively collects. Your enquiry is delivered to our email inbox; this website does not store it in a database.

Technical data. Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical information needed to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse — such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. We use this only for security and operation of the site.

Spam protection. Our contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA. When you use the form, reCAPTCHA processes technical signals from your browser and device, including your IP address, to distinguish people from automated bots, and may set a cookie for this purpose. This data is processed by Google under its own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We use it solely to protect the form from abuse.

What we do not do

We do not use advertising cookies, and this site does not show third-party advertising. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. There are no user accounts and no payments taken through this website. Fonts and images are served by us, not fetched from third-party font services. The only third-party service on this site that may set a cookie is Google reCAPTCHA on the contact form, used for security as described above.

How we use your information

We use the details you submit through the enquiry form to respond to you and, where relevant, to continue a business conversation you have started with us — for example about buying property, investing, or partnering on a project. The legal basis for this is your consent (you choose to contact us) and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. We may also use information where necessary to comply with legal obligations.

Who we share it with

Your enquiry is transmitted by Resend, an email delivery service acting as our processor, and delivered to our company inbox. The website is served through our hosting and content-delivery provider, and contact-form verification is performed by Google reCAPTCHA. These providers process data on our behalf and under their own security commitments; they are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes beyond those described in their policies. We do not share your personal information with anyone else unless required by law.

International transfers

Our website infrastructure, verification and email delivery providers may process data on servers located outside Ghana, including in the United States and the European Union. Where that happens, the data is protected by the providers' contractual and security safeguards.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are retained in our email records for as long as needed to handle your request and any business relationship that follows, and are deleted when no longer required. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time (see your rights below).

Your rights

Under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) — and, where it applies to you, the EU General Data Protection Regulation — you have the right to ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to or restrict its use. To exercise any of these rights, email info@jodorfestates.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to Ghana's Data Protection Commission or, for EU residents, to your local data protection authority.

Security

This website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and enquiry data is transmitted to our inbox over encrypted channels. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical measures appropriate to the limited data this site handles.

Third-party links

The website contains links that open third-party services — for example, WhatsApp for chat. Once you leave this website, those services' own privacy policies apply. We encourage you to review them.

Children

This website is directed at adults making property and investment enquiries. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we add features that change how personal data is handled — for example analytics, embedded maps, or embedded video — we will update this policy at the same time and revise the date at the top of this page.
